Transferring a domain to MediaRack allows you to manage its renewal and related services through your MediaRack account.
Before starting
Confirm that:
- The domain is eligible to be transferred.
- You can access the domain's registrant email address.
- The domain is unlocked, if the extension uses a transfer lock.
- You have obtained the transfer authorisation code, sometimes called an EPP code or domain password.
Submit the transfer
- Open the MediaRack domain transfer page.
- Enter the domain name.
- Enter the transfer authorisation code when requested.
- Review the contact and nameserver details.
- Complete checkout.
- Approve any confirmation email sent by the registry or current registrar.
A transfer normally changes the registrar responsible for the domain. It does not automatically move your website or email. Existing nameservers should remain in place unless you intentionally change them.
