How to manage DNS records

DNS records direct your domain to services such as your website, email provider and verification systems.

Before changing DNS

Obtain the exact record name, type and value from the service you are connecting. An incorrect DNS change can interrupt your website or email.

Domains using MediaRack DNS management

  1. Log in to the MediaRack Client Area.
  2. Open Domains and select the relevant domain.
  3. Open the available DNS management or DNS records option.
  4. Add or edit the required record.
  5. Check the record carefully before saving.

Domains using Plesk DNS

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Open Websites & Domains.
  3. Select DNS Settings for the relevant domain.
  4. Add, update or remove the required record.
  5. Select Update or Apply to publish the change.

If you are unsure which DNS system controls your domain, open a MediaRack support ticket before making changes.
