These instructions apply to a MediaRack-hosted mailbox configured as an IMAP account in Microsoft Outlook. Menu names may vary slightly between Outlook versions.
- Open Outlook and choose Add Account.
- Enter your complete email address.
- If requested, choose Advanced options and select manual account setup.
- Select IMAP.
- Enter srv1.mediarack.com.au as the incoming mail server.
- Set the incoming port to 993 and encryption to SSL/TLS.
- Enter srv1.mediarack.com.au as the outgoing SMTP server.
- Set the outgoing port to 465 and encryption to SSL/TLS.
- Enable outgoing-server authentication.
- Use your complete email address as the username for both incoming and outgoing mail.
- Enter the email account password and complete the connection test.
Leave Secure Password Authentication (SPA) disabled. If Outlook cannot connect, confirm the password by signing in to webmail or reset the mailbox password through Plesk.
