Not every DNS record is managed in the domain console.

First check the domain's nameservers. If they point to another DNS provider—such as a website host, Microsoft, Google or a CDN—make the DNS change with that authoritative provider instead.

DNS quick guide

How to update a DNS record.

Copy existing values before changing them.

Incorrect A, CNAME, MX or TXT records can interrupt websites, email and verification services. Ask MediaRack if you are uncertain.

1
Confirm where DNS is hosted

Check the domain's authoritative nameservers. These determine which control panel contains the active DNS zone.

2
Open the correct control panel

If MediaRack's domain console controls the zone, log in at mediarack.partnerconsole.net and select the relevant domain.

3
Open DNS or zone management

The exact label may vary. Locate the area containing A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT records.

4
Add or edit the record carefully

Enter the host, type, value and TTL supplied by the service you are connecting. Avoid deleting unrelated records.

5
Save and allow propagation

DNS changes are not always visible everywhere immediately because cached records expire according to their TTL.

Domains & DNS

Domain names, nameservers and records.

Where do I log in to manage my domain name?

Use the MediaRack Domain Name Control Panel for domain registration details, nameservers, DNS records and domain contacts where available. Hosting, invoices and support are handled through the separate MediaRack Client Area.

How do I change an A, CNAME, MX or TXT record?

First confirm which provider's nameservers are authoritative. Log in to that provider, open the DNS or zone-management area, select the domain, then add or edit the record using the exact host, type, value and TTL supplied by the destination service.

What is the difference between DNS records and nameservers?

Nameservers identify where a domain's active DNS zone is hosted. DNS records inside that zone direct individual services, such as the website through A or CNAME records and email through MX and TXT records.

How long do DNS changes take?

Some changes appear quickly, while cached records can remain until their existing TTL expires. Timing varies by resolver, previous TTL and record type, so allow for propagation before assuming the change failed.

Can MediaRack register or transfer a domain?

Yes. You can search for a new domain or contact MediaRack about transferring an existing domain. Eligibility, renewal effects and transfer requirements vary by extension.

Hosting & WordPress

Websites, servers and management.

Where do I manage my MediaRack hosting service?

Sign in to the MediaRack Client Area to view your account and services. Access to Plesk, WordPress or server administration depends on the hosting service and management arrangement.

Does MediaRack use Plesk for WordPress hosting?

MediaRack's WordPress environments run on Linux and are managed through Plesk. Available tools, resources, backups, staging and update responsibilities depend on the selected plan, licence and service scope.

Can MediaRack migrate my WordPress website?

Yes. MediaRack can review the website, database, email, DNS, PHP requirements, plugins and current access before defining a migration plan and confirming responsibilities.

What is the difference between shared hosting, VPS and cloud hosting?

Shared hosting places multiple customers within a managed environment. A VPS provides allocated virtual-server resources and greater administrative control. Cloud hosting can provide a more flexible infrastructure design. The appropriate choice depends on workload, software, support and recovery needs.

Are website backups included?

Backup arrangements depend on the hosting plan and management scope. Confirm what is backed up, how frequently, how long copies are retained and how restoration is requested. Application data stored outside the normal website environment may require a separate backup method.

Email

Mailboxes, DNS and delivery.

Does MediaRack provide business email hosting?

Yes. MediaRack can provide hosted business email and assist with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace configuration. The right option depends on mailbox, collaboration, security and administration requirements.

Which DNS records are important for email?

Mail commonly relies on MX records for routing and SPF, DKIM and DMARC records for authentication and policy. Use the exact records supplied by the email provider and avoid maintaining conflicting SPF records.

Can normal business email be used for bulk campaigns?

Bulk and transactional sending should generally use a purpose-built sending service rather than ordinary staff mailboxes. MediaRack can discuss options such as Sendy with AWS SES, including authentication and separation of message streams.

What information helps diagnose a delivery problem?

Provide the sender and recipient addresses, approximate sending time, subject, whether the message appears in Sent Items, the complete bounce-back and any recent DNS or email changes. These details make server-log investigation more useful.

Accounts & support

Login, billing and technical help.

What is the MediaRack Client Area used for?

The Client Area is used for MediaRack hosting services, invoices, account information and support options. It is separate from the domain-name control panel.

Where can I check server status?

Open the MediaRack Server Status page for available network and server-status information. If your issue is not shown, submit a support request with the affected domain and service.

Where can I find setup instructions?

Search the MediaRack Knowledgebase for available email, WordPress and software instructions. Contact support when the guide does not match your service.

What should I include in a support request?

Include the affected domain or service, the exact error, when it occurred, steps to reproduce it, recent changes and relevant screenshots. Do not send passwords or private API keys in an ordinary email.

Websites & AI

Website design and emerging workloads.

Does MediaRack build websites?

Yes. MediaRack offers AI-assisted website design with human review and a DIY WordPress path for customers who prefer to build and edit their own website.

What is AI-assisted website design?

AI tools can accelerate research, page structure, working drafts and production. Real business knowledge and human review are still required for accuracy, originality, design and the final WordPress build.

Can MediaRack host AI agents and automations?

MediaRack can assess hosting for workflow platforms, webhooks and agent services. The server, persistent storage, backups, model provider, software licences, integrations and management responsibilities are scoped for the specific workload.

How do I request a hosting or website recommendation?

Use the MediaRack contact page and describe the business outcome, current environment, expected workload, timing and preferred level of management. You do not need to choose the server specification first.

Still not sure which panel, record or service you need?

Tell MediaRack the domain name, what you are trying to connect and the result you expect. We will help identify the next practical step.
