Reliable email starts by choosing the correct sending path.

A message from a staff member, a password reset and a newsletter may all carry the same logo, but they should not automatically share the same infrastructure or reputation.

MediaRack helps businesses separate everyday correspondence from automated and bulk sending. We can configure hosted mailboxes or connect domains to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, then use dedicated infrastructure such as AWS SES for appropriate transactional or permission-based campaign delivery.

That separation protects normal business communication, makes sending activity easier to monitor and provides a clearer response when a recipient provider rejects or defers mail.

Deliverability cannot be guaranteed. It is influenced by authentication, IP and domain reputation, list quality, recipient engagement, content, sending behaviour and each receiving provider's rules.
Choose the right email solution

Three workloads. Three appropriate paths.

Bulk and transactional

AWS SES and sending systems

For applications, order notifications, newsletters and permission-based campaigns needing dedicated sending infrastructure.

  • Sending-domain verification
  • SMTP or API configuration
  • DKIM and aligned authentication
  • Bounce and complaint handling design
  • Sendy or compatible platform integration
Plan bulk delivery
Bulk email infrastructure

Sending volume is only one part of the system.

Amazon SES can deliver marketing and transactional email through SMTP or API interfaces, but the surrounding process determines whether it is used responsibly.

  • Use addresses collected with appropriate permission
  • Separate promotional and transactional message streams
  • Authenticate the sending domain correctly
  • Increase sending volume progressively where required
  • Process bounces, complaints and unsubscribes
  • Monitor sending reputation and provider feedback
  • Secure SMTP credentials and application access
  • Keep ordinary staff mailboxes off campaign infrastructure
01

Source

CRM, ecommerce, website, application or permission-based campaign list.

02

Sending platform

Sendy or another suitable application prepares and manages the message workflow.

03

AWS SES

SES accepts authenticated SMTP or API requests and handles email delivery infrastructure.

04

Feedback

Delivery events, bounces, complaints and unsubscribes inform suppression and monitoring.

Authentication and reputation

Receiving providers need evidence that the sender is legitimate.

MediaRack can configure and troubleshoot the DNS and infrastructure signals behind business and bulk email.

SPF

Authorised senders

Identifies systems permitted to send on behalf of the domain. All legitimate senders need to be considered together.

DKIM

Signed messages

Adds a cryptographic signature that enables receiving systems to verify authorised domain use and message integrity.

DMARC

Alignment and policy

Defines how SPF or DKIM aligns with the visible From domain and provides reporting for domain oversight.

PTR

Reverse DNS

Connects a sending IP with an appropriate hostname and supports legitimate server identity checks.

Bulk-sender responsibilities: Large-volume senders face additional provider requirements, including stronger authentication and accessible unsubscribe mechanisms. Australian businesses must also meet applicable consent, identification and unsubscribe obligations. MediaRack provides technical infrastructure—not legal advice or permission to use purchased or non-consensual lists.
Implementation process

Design the mail flow before changing the DNS.

01

Audit

Identify every mailbox, application, form, platform and service currently sending for the domain.

02

Separate

Assign business, transactional and campaign messages to appropriate infrastructure and identities.

03

Authenticate

Configure DNS, credentials, alignment, bounce handling and required application connections.

04

Monitor

Review logs, deferrals, bounces, complaints, suppression and reputation as sending continues.

Frequently asked questions

Business and bulk email questions.

What is business email hosting?

Business email hosting provides mailboxes using an organisation's own domain. Users can access mail through compatible desktop, mobile or webmail applications, depending on the selected service.

Can MediaRack configure Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

Yes. MediaRack can assist with domain verification, MX routing, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and migration or troubleshooting tasks for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace under an agreed scope.

Can normal mailboxes be used for bulk email?

Ordinary staff mailboxes are generally not the right infrastructure for newsletters or high-volume automated sending. Dedicated campaign or transactional services provide more appropriate controls for volume, feedback and reputation.

What is Amazon SES?

Amazon Simple Email Service is an AWS platform for sending marketing, transactional and other email through SMTP or API interfaces. MediaRack can assist with appropriate setup and integration; no formal AWS partner status is implied.

Can MediaRack set up Sendy with AWS SES?

Yes. MediaRack can scope a Sendy and AWS SES implementation, including sending-domain authentication, SMTP or API connection, list or CRM workflows and bounce, complaint and unsubscribe handling.

Does authentication guarantee inbox delivery?

No. SPF, DKIM and DMARC are important, but delivery also depends on domain and IP reputation, consent, list quality, message content, complaint levels, engagement, volume patterns and recipient-provider decisions.

Can MediaRack investigate rejected or deferred email?

Yes. Depending on available access, MediaRack can examine DNS, authentication, sending logs, queue responses, blocklists, reputation signals and recipient-server error messages to identify likely causes.

Can I send to a purchased database?

MediaRack does not recommend purchased or non-consensual lists. Senders are responsible for applicable laws, platform policies and recipient-provider rules, including consent, accurate identification and functioning unsubscribe processes.
